With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Science, Ray's engineering background assists with the technicality of photography, camera movement, virtual production, and post production. Fusing his technical experience, a love of storytelling, and his passion for art and design led him to cinematography.
“I tend toward naturalistic styles in an effort to emphasize story and performance, but should a project call for a stylized look, I would be excited to bring that to life. The Director's narrative and vision is paramount to the project, and will always be served by my cinematography. I believe movies are a Director's medium, and as such, the relationship between the Director and the Director of Photography is critical. My ultimate goal is a successful realization of the Director's vision.”
